Live Fit...4 Life!

myquirkylife asked: vs the whole time I've been eating paleo? Ugh, it's just frustrating. And thanks for the Ayurveda mentioned, I had heard a little about it. Do you have a place to recommend? I'm starting with acupuncture, nothing to lose, maybe it'll help.

In eating the same things or pretty much the same things over and over, you can slowly be depleting your body of certain nutrients/minerals. Have you tried looking at your iodine content? Manganese? Selenium? These are vital parts of healthy thyroid/hormone function. I know very little, but consulting with a nutritionist would definitely help to analyze what you are getting/missing. I would definitely recommend staying away from gluten, so things like rice, quinoa (packed with different nutrients/minerals!), etc. I have had two clients battling the same as you, and for a little longer (late 30’s, early 40’s) and both of them have had success with the Ayurveda lifestyle/diet. It took a little bit 3-6 months, but their allergies are gone, their energy is back, great skin/hair and digestive issues gone. I’ll get their specialists name :-)

To me success means effectiveness in the world, that I am able to carry my ideas and values into the world – that I am able to change it in positive ways.
